Hi, I’m Fruzsi, a fashion designer from Hungary who has lived in Austria for many years. From a young age, I was passionate about fashion and art, which ultimately inspired me to start my own label, FRU – named after the nickname my friends call me.

 

My creative world revolves around colors, color combinations, and the art of mixing different fabrics. I am particularly fascinated by designing outerwear such as coats and jackets. Each piece in my collection is personally designed by me and produced under fair conditions in Hungary. I exclusively use deadstock fabrics, making every garment unique and limited in quantity – a true one-of-a-kind.

 

Sustainability is at the heart of my work. I use materials that have already been produced and give them new life through my designs. I prefer natural fabrics like wool, cotton, linen, and leather. Sometimes, there are also fabrics with a small percentage of polyester or other synthetic fibers – this helps with ease of care and durability of the pieces.

 

My designs blend creativity, sustainability, and quality – each piece is crafted to bring joy and make the world a little more colorful and sustainable.
